Lily-Rose Depp and Nicholas Hoult sit down with Extra’s Terry Seymour to discuss the gothic supernatural horror film Nosferatu.
This is an obsession story about a haunted young woman, Ellen Hatter (Depp), and the terrifying vampire played by Bill Skarsgård who is infatuated with her. Nicholas will play Thomas Hatter, Ellen’s husband.
After Terry was surprised that it wasn’t CGI, Lily told how she prepared for the possession scene.
Lily said: “We had a great movement coach. She helped me tremendously in choreographing all these moments because it was physical but also very emotional. Because it’s a work of art.”
She further added, “It was intense…I tried to embrace that as a way to get into the character, because all of those physical moments were the external physical manifestation of what was going on inside her.” Because it’s like that.”
Nicholas also said of his character: He is someone who learns the truth too late about what is important in life and relationships. I think he’s a very caring and loving person, but also a bit naive, so it was fun to travel with him. ”
Additionally, both stars reflected on the “unforgettable” film, written and directed by Robert Eggers.
Nicholas said, “The appeal of this film is that it looks so beautiful and haunting, yet so romantic and fantastical.”
