His lawyer, Brian Friedman, is challenging her after Blake Lively’s lawyer revealed that she plans to take a stand when her case against Justin Bardoni goes to trial.
Friedman said TMZ“If Blake Lively is serious about testifying that the world sees, let’s live stream it at Madison Square Garden and give money to survivors of domestic violence.”
Sources close to Lively were not pleased with Freedman’s comments. It told the outlet that it was a serious issue and not a public stunt.
Lively lawyers Esra Hudson and Mike Gottlieb told TMZ:
In a recent interview with People Magazine, Gottlieb discussed other possible people who could testify without naming their names. He said, “There are individuals who are witnesses to fraud related to Lively’s claims, or have experienced fraud. We expect their testimony to come out through Lively’s testimony, especially about what happened on set.”
Can Blake’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, testify? Gottlieb is unsure about the Deadpool star, saying, “Maybe or maybe it is.”

There are reports that Blake and Ryan’s famous friends, Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman, could be summoned in the case. Gottlieb said, “It’s completely unclear what claims and defenses there are in any case of any of these celebrities.” This is a case of what happened to Break Live when they raised sexual harassment claims on set. That’s not a case of how the song was chosen for the film. This is not a case about the fictional Marvel character from the “Deadpool” movie. ”
“So why are these people summoned?” he continued. “Do they actually have something to do with the case at hand? They are famous so you can’t go around people summoning subpoena. And you think it will generate a lot of headlines. And federal courts won’t tolerate such behavior.”
Regarding the general fuss about the incident, Gottlieb argued: “I think I’ve been distracting a lot to distract myself from the retaliation campaign launched against her, and we hope that this retaliation campaign will focus on the core parts of MS. Ms. Laised railing as railing as lail as a railing of the securities combets of the of the Case.
In December, Lively filed a legal complaint with California’s Civil Rights Office, claiming that Baldoni had sexually harassed her on set. She also denounced him in a smear campaign in a New York Times article. In return, he sued the New York Times, which denied any misconduct.
Bardoni then filed a $250 million lawsuit against the NYT.
Blake then sued Justin and his PR team for sexual harassment and “merciless” retaliation.
Bardoni fired another delinquent loss case and sued Blake, her husband Ryan Reynolds and spokesperson Leslie Sloan for $400 million.
Blake and Justin are set for the March 2026 trial.
