President Donald Trump on Wednesday offered to help settle tensions between India and Pakistan. Kashmir.
Trump commented on the situation after India said it had hit a strike against Pakistan early on Wednesday morning.
“That’s terrible,” Trump said of the conflict.
“My position is to get along with both,” Trump said in his oval office after swearing at Senator David Perdue in Georgia. China Ambassador.
“I know both so well, so I want to see them resolve it,” the president said. “I want to see them stop, and hopefully they can stop now.”
He added that the US has good ties with both countries and wants to see the “Tart” halt.
“If I could do anything to help, I would be there,” Trump said.
Trump told reporters on Tuesday night White House India and Pakistan have fought for “a long time,” implying that rising tensions could have been foreseen “based on a bit of the past.”
India has accused Pakistan of the massacre of 26 civilians on April 22 in the Indian-controlled section of Kashmir, a Himalayan region.
India and Pakistan claim that everything in Kashmir is part of their country.
