Donna Kelce teamed up with Extra’s Jenny Taft and Brooke Shields to raise health awareness with the THRIVE@50+ campaign.
Donna’s two sons, Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce, both grew up to become superstars in the NFL, and Travis is currently dating the most famous woman on the planet, Taylor Swift.
“There were a lot of fights, people jumped off buildings, windows were broken, arms were broken,” she said of raising two boys.
Donna reflected on Travis’ rising star, saying he is “on top of the world” and noting that he has “another Super Bowl ring in his hands.”
She said, “His life seems to be on an upward trajectory every day, and every time I turn around and see him doing something different, whether it’s on the golf course or at a concert or whatever. I’m living my best life right now. ”
Matriarch Kelce says being in the spotlight isn’t always stressful for Travis.
“He was always the one in the spotlight,” Donna said. “He loves the attention. I mean, he’s always dancing, he’s always joking, he’s always having fun…He just loves life. He has a zest for life. He is one of those people who wants to make sure everyone laughs and has a good time.”

She continued, “Whether he’s on the field or off, he does a lot of antics…Even with his clothes on, sometimes he’s like, ‘I just want to smile at people. I just want you to be what I want you to be.”
Travis is an actor and gig host, and even joined Taylor on stage during her Elas tour in London. But Donna revealed that she couldn’t do it, laughing as she said: “He can’t clean or cook…he’s getting better little by little. I think he’s getting help.”
She added, “No matter what he tries to do, what the two boys try to do…whenever they try to do something, they put their heart and soul into it and try to do it the best they can.” It’s not something I taught them, it’s just in their DNA.”
Jenny had to ask Donna about what Travis told her about meeting Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte on the Elas tour. Donna said: “He said that when you meet people like that – the royal family, Paul McCartney, Hugh Grant, etc. – you’re like, ‘What?'” . Who is inappropriate in this photo? Why am I here? Why am I even allowed to talk to these people? It doesn’t seem right. ”
She said: “But I think he’s coping pretty well. He’s a very friendly guy.”
Travis and Jason have many talents, and Donna is also trying her hand at acting in the upcoming Hallmark Channel movie, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.
she teased. “All I can say is it was really fun. We had a great time. It’s been a little hot in Kansas City this summer, but I have a feeling this will happen as we get closer to Thanksgiving.” And we’re looking forward to it. ”
