More than three weeks have passed since Kamala Harris became the presumptive Democratic nominee, and in that time she has not given a single interview or held a single press conference, other than answering two questions on an airport tarmac on Thursday.
We went from Biden-Harris to Heidin-Harris.
It is unacceptable, dangerous, and It’s time for the kowtowing members of America’s liberal news media – de facto members of the Harris-Waltz team – to stand up and demand better.
Harris is mocked for not even spending two minutes after 18 days answering the question: “Is this the best Kamala can do?”
In less than two weeks, the low-profile vice president will be nominated in Chicago, and for the first time in modern American history, she may not only not receive a single vote in this election, but she may never give a single interview as a presidential candidate.
Instead of hearing from the actual person vying for the position of the most powerful leader in the world, we hear from campaign officials and surrogates — hidden mouthpieces for the candidate who couldn’t speak without them — and it’s time for an end to this.
The gaslighting progressive sycophants in the media need to stand up and tell Harris to stop hiding behind their surrogates and speak for herself. Anything but her campaign is a test run from which they can back away, throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks.
Just Thursday, Harris campaign adviser Phil Gordon appeared on “X” after The New York Times reported that an arms embargo against Israel was under discussion and said Harris supports an arms embargo against Israel. “Sorry, Phil, but we can’t just take your word for it. Harris has to say it.”
Kamala Harris finally answers reporters’ questions after 18 days of avoiding the media since becoming Democratic candidate
Let’s say a campaign spokesperson like Jen O’Malley Dillon goes on the Sunday shows and says Harris will allow fracking for the next 25 years and then abolish it. Republicans can rally support by saying, “Look, she wants to ban fracking.” or If the left gains momentum by arguing that this is fracking overdone, Harris can simply say, “Jen misstated my position” and change her position.
Our liberal media has no obligation to encourage this obfuscation. In fact, Americans would respect them more if they did their job. It is time to demand that campaigns reveal who the real candidates are, without the ability to claim that their words or positions were taken out of context. After all, in the midst of a presidential election unlike anything most of us have ever seen, there are some questions that need to be answered. For example:
*When did Biden realize he couldn’t run for a second term?
*Why wasn’t this decision made sooner to allow for a thorough process to select candidates who would give voters a say?
*Will President Biden make a decision today?
*Do you regret helping raise bail for criminals who burned down parts of Minneapolis under the direction of your running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz?
*You said in your speech that you would start fighting inflation from day one, so why hasn’t the Biden-Harris administration done that yet?

*Even if your border department was addressing the “root causes” of mass illegal immigration, would you take any responsibility for Americans killed by illegal immigrants under your administration?
You get the point. This is not a short list of questions. And at this point, questioning campaign officials is doing more harm than good. They can’t actually answer the questions. All they’re doing is using the news media as their own private pollster.
It’s time for Kamala Harris to come out of her basement. She’s trying to schedule an interview now, three weeks from now, by the end of this month, and she says she’s only going to schedule one and not actually do it.

It’s ridiculous that someone who wants to be president should have to prepare for a month and a half for just one interview. If elected, Harris will be the one taking the phone calls at 3am, with no time to respond within 45 days.
It’s time to demand that Harris speak for herself. American voters deserve more than that.
