Jenny Taft and Rob Gronkowski from “Extra” chatted at Super Bowl Ricks Fox Media Day in New Orleans.
He said New Orleans is “poppin,” adding that the city has “a great city for the Super Bowl, with a lot of energy.”
Rob also praised his former patriot teammate Tom Brady for how well he stepped into the broadcaster role.
“I love Tom and I’m very happy he’s joined the Fox team,” Gronkowski said. “It’s amazing that one of my teammates here is playing with me. Not only one of them, but Julian Edelmann has come here too. The two around me make me feel comfortable. They make me feel like myself. That’s why I am so grateful to them. We have each other’s backs. They have support from each other.”
He continued to praise Brady. It’s not an easy job, not an easy job, not an easy job, blind from the start without knowing what to do, and to pick it up every week, he’s now dominated, he’s at the peak appropriate moment. You peak in the Super Bowl and he is peaking. So he’s the Super Bowl champion because he’s always played the best football in the postseason, like he does as a broadcaster. He is the best broadcaster right now and will dominate the Super Bowl. ”
