“Extra” chatted with Diegorna about “Andru” season 2 at Star Wars Celebration Japan.
Luna, who plays Cassian Andre, said of making a second season:
Luna describes the structure as “four blocks,” and “it’s like dropping four films for an audience and seeing the full two-hour part of the story. It’s bold and I think it’s unique.
In a celebratory audience, he said, “There are 125 countries in that room. It is a “Star Wars” community. It is the community we belong to.
He also recalls Alan Tadik returning as K-2SO, saying, “It’s beautiful. Everyone is hoping for K2 to come back.” He said, “To begin my journey with him, I mean I’m talking about ‘Rogue One’. And he’s there for the end.
“Extra” spoke with Diego’s co-star Adria Arjona.
“We’re trying to rebuild ourselves and try to actually experience the trauma of what happens to her with Dr. Golst. And we’re skipping a year, but it takes over a year to get through that kind of thing.
Adria also says that the writing of the show reflects a true understanding of human emotions, “it’s a drama that takes place in a distant galaxy.”
Additionally, she reflected on how special it is to experience the audience’s response at the Star Wars celebration.
“I was moved by the response that we were excited to watch the first episode. It’s something we worked so hard on. I’m going to talk emotionally about it again. I really love this show and I’m proud to be part of it.
“Andor” will premiere on Disney+ on April 22nd.
