Cardi B announced the birth of her baby on Instagram in September. She gushed, “The cutest one is 9/7/24
.”
While pregnant, Cardi suffered from health concerns after slipping down the stairs at her home.
A few months ago, Cardi B revealed this in an interview with X Spaces. I almost fell, but I held on to the railing to keep from falling. My foot still slipped and I almost hit my butt.
“I felt this weird thump and couldn’t really get up,” she continued. “I realized I couldn’t really walk. I was having some, I don’t know, pain in the lower part of my stomach.”
After the fall, Cardi took a nap. She said: “I woke up and couldn’t move my butt at all. Just moving my legs felt like a pain in the bottom of my stomach. I couldn’t move. I felt paralyzed.”
Cardi then went to the hospital where medical professionals told her she had torn and dilated a ligament in her pelvis.
Cardi said the accident “almost killed her” as she was having contractions “every two minutes for 24 hours.”
She elaborated: “So they had to keep an eye on me and I was in a lot of pain. I couldn’t move for two days in a row.”
Once she was allowed to leave the hospital, Cardi had to be placed on “bed rest” and receive treatment.
