Eric Mabius, who played Daniel Mead in “The Ugly Betty,” is in the hot water after a bar fight in Florida.
TMZ I posted a video Of the arguments and reports, Mabius was arrested early Thursday morning on two misdemeanors, including resisting officers without batteries or violence.
According to an arrest report obtained by the site, the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office was called to Yule’s bar just after 2am after a “very drunk” woman caused a stir and vomited people.
In the video, Mabius appears to be standing next to the woman. Mabius appears to be about to break up the fight by hitting the second woman, then ends up bringing both women to the ground.
According to arrest reports, the actor added that he rode over the second woman and tore hair from his scalp. Eric and the woman had to be separated.
TMZ is said to have acted belligerent when the agent arrived. He and the drunk woman were both arrested.
A disturbed mug shot of the 53 year old shows that he may have been cut off near his eyes during an argument.
New York Post It has been reported As of Thursday afternoon, Eric was still in custody and had not appeared in court. He has not commented publicly on the incident.
Mabius is best known for playing the boss of American Ferrera in “uglyly betty,” but has also appeared in “Blue Blood,” “Chicago Fire,” and other shows.
