The New Jersey Attorney General’s Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control is reviewing the liquor license of an establishment owned by former President Donald Trump.
The Bureau of Alcoholic Beverage Control is reviewing whether President Trump’s recent felony conviction violates provisions of state law that restrict licenses based on criminal history.
“ABC is reviewing the impact of President Trump’s conviction on the above licenses and will not be making any further comment at this time,” Attorney General Matthew Platkin’s office told Fox News Digital on Tuesday.

According to New Jersey law, “No license of any class shall be issued to any person under the age of 18 or to any person who has been convicted of a crime of moral turpitude.”
Trump was convicted of 34 counts of falsifying business records in a New York City court on May 30, but this appears to have had little effect on his levels of support.

The liquor licenses of Trump National Golf Club Colts Neck, Trump National Golf Club Pine Hill and Lamington Farms Club are all also part of the investigation.
Former New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal sought to revoke the liquor license from Trump National Golf Club Colts Neck after a fatal crash in 2019 when a drunk driver left the club.

As a result of the lawsuit, the club ultimately paid ABC approximately $400,000 and restricted the serving of alcohol to certain areas of the premises.
