Hannah Waddingham appears on the 2023 Emmy Awards red carpet in a custom Marchesa! She dissected her interest in Terry Seymour and Adam Glassman from “Extra” and talked about reuniting with the cast of “Ted Lasso” at the awards ceremony.
She said of her dress: “It’s a bespoke Marchesa piece designed by Georgina Campbell, who is beautiful inside and out.”
Hannah joked about her gorgeous light green dress and asked her to “match it with my eyeballs”, adding: “But that’s really where it started.”
She said of the form-fitting dress: “I’m a curvy girl and I just want to make sure I represent the juicy birds we call ourselves.”
Waddingham revealed that the dress was “oddly very comfortable” but that she was unable to sit on the way to the show.
Hannah confessed, “I stood up with a chocolate chip cookie in my hand.”
She went on to call reuniting with the Ted Lasso cast “the ultimate hurray,” adding, “We’re all in the most privileged position.”
Regarding fans wanting the show to continue, she said: Of course, that includes us greyhounds. ”
Talking about her future, she called working on Fall Guys and Mission: Impossible “exciting.”
“I’m totally in a pinch-me phase,” she gushed.
Hannah said of working with Tom Cruise, “I had the same reaction that anyone would have if they were in Mr. TC’s wake.”
Star added, gesturing upward, “saying ‘Tom Cruise’ is like saying ‘Meryl Streep’. Like, she’s right there.”
