Oprah has been called “the queen of all media.” She is also a self-made millionaire, with Forbes magazine estimating her fortune at $2.5 billion, ranking her 1,217th in the world. Therefore, people should listen when she speaks.
Students at her alma mater, Tennessee State University, had the opportunity last weekend. She gave her memorable commencement address. Not always memorable. Sure, Oprah wowed crowds with some compelling anecdotes, but she couldn’t avoid imitating politics and her party’s bannerman, President Joe Biden.
Out of nowhere, she dropped her hammer and slammed into a detained audience with a series of left-wing topics including book banning allegations, LGBT+ complaints, debt ceilings and, of course, guns. She claimed they were “military-grade assault rifles,” but any rational gun owner knows that the claim is false.

Her speech began on a positive note, explaining that she grew up in a poor environment and built a megastar career from scratch. She told the crowd about her time at TSU and how she was kicked out of class because of a television job offer. It is often said that that led to her first job at a TV station and what followed was history.

That’s what she gave them, for a while, a personal history lesson mixed with healthy and positive faith. Then she moved into the world of politics, straight from God, who dreams “bigger dreams than you can imagine for yourself.”
Her speech took a sharp left turn. “You have witnessed the storming of the Capitol and the destruction of civility.
Ah, the “Death of Courtesy”. It sounds familiar, but let me explain.

She went on to rattle off 13 different agenda items in just over 30 seconds. At least 11 of them are easily identifiable as left-wing motives. “Books are banned. History is being rewritten. The Supreme Court is corrupt. The debt ceiling is being held hostage. The climate is changing. I am,” she told a detained audience.

It wasn’t until she argued that “the cold war is back” that she deviated from the standard liberal orthodoxy. And it wasn’t clear that she intended to do so. Indeed, the blame for her is not on the conservatives, but on the power-mad Russian President Vladimir Putin. Whether Oprah is aware of it is another matter.
She took the time to praise two Democratic rising stars, Tennessee Congressmen Justin Jones and Justin Pearson. They were kicked out of the state legislature after participating in violent protests on the Senate floor. She declared that “they are building on the legacy of giants” like the late civil rights activist and congressman John Lewis.
But what about that “politeness”? By her definition, if all of these things are bad, so are the people she thinks are doing them or supporting them. After all, it’s actually not that polite.
This is a direct quote from Biden’s bait and switch. In 2019, when he was in campaign mode, he complained about the lack of civility in the Senate and talked about the past. (Shortly after Methuselah, when Biden was elected for the first time.) “At least there was some courtesy. We got things done. We didn’t agree on anything. We got things done.” He recalled.

And in November 2021, he pretended to wish that “politics could return to a more civilized state.” Of course, in early 2022, he was furious when asked about his campaign for a “return to civility.” But it didn’t matter. he was already ahead.
Unsurprisingly, Oprah also followed his lead.
I am not disrespecting her. I’ve followed Oprah’s career since her 1970s when she got a job at her WJZ-TV in Baltimore. Soon she was co-hosting ‘People Are Talking’, a local talk show that foretold her future success. she respects me But her problem with being a professional speaker is that she sometimes talks too much and forgets to listen and understand.

Oprah, like most ultra-wealthy liberals, can’t think about the world outside her bubble. She and Biden couldn’t imagine a conservative speaker showering a college audience with a dozen conservative arguments on the biggest day of her life.

Even if the speaker were miraculously allowed on campus and not boycotted or thwarted, few conservatives would dare to publish such blatant propaganda.
Picture this: “School libraries are being used for indoctrination. False history is turning us against our homeland. The president is corrupt. The budget deficit is countless.” The green movement is tax the americans To pay the rest of the world. Transgender extremists are manipulating our children,” she told a detained audience.

The result would have been an uproar all over the world.
And Oprah and her friends would have been the first to complain.
