The final autopsy report of Oscar-winning actor Jean Hackman was released by the Medical Researchers Office at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, citing heart problems and signs of fasting, resulting in natural deaths due to “hypertension and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.”
The autopsy obtained by “Extra” also points to Hackman’s history of “congestive heart failure,” “severe chronic hypertension changes to the kidneys,” all ear marks of Alzheimer’s disease, and evidence to go without long-term food.
Hackman became very thin in his later years, and investigators also determined that his wife had died a few days before his wife.
Hackman is believed to have been essentially helpless because he did not call authorities when his wife died and did not release the written dogs that the couple owned. The dog died of starvation and dehydration.
He is also shown at his autopsy. Hackman tested negative for the Hantavirus, the disease that killed Betsy.

Hackman, 95, and Arakawa, 65, were found to have died in their New Mexico home in February. As evidenced by the history of doctor visits and Google searches, Betsy, who knew she was sick in something, was determined to have died of the Hantavirus in the bathroom before Hackman died in another part of the house.
The official death report says Hackman was found on “a mudroom floor.”
The heartbreaking video shows one of the two living dogs at home is faithful to their bodies.
The couple was remembered at a private Santa Fe memorial, attended by close friends and family earlier this month.
Hackman’s adult children Christopher, Elizabeth and Leslie were among the mourners.
