Bianca Castro-Arabejo, who played as Jiggly Caliente on “Rupaul’s Drag Race,” died at the age of 44, just days after losing his leg to “severe infection.”
The performer’s official account posted sad news in a statement from her family, saying, “We announced the death of the world-renowned Bianca Castro Arabella, and announced what many loved, and were surrounded by loving friends at 4:42 AM on April 27, 2025.
“With a bright presence in the world of entertainment and advocacy, Zigly Caliente was celebrated with infectious energy, intense wit and unwavering authenticity.
“Her legacy is one of love, courage and light. Her physical presence is gone, and the joy she shares and the space she creates for so many will remain forever.”
“She is deeply overlooked, always loved and remembered forever.”

Castro-Arabejo appeared in season 4 of “Rupaul’s Drag Race” in 2012, finishing in 8th place on the show.

Castro-Arabejo appeared as Trans in 2016 and in 2020 he was co-host of “Translation,” the first talk show in a major network with all trans cast.
