TikTok creators who appeared in a town hall interview with Oprah Winfrey and Vice President Kamala Harris last week blasted their videos for being used without their permission, mocked Harris and vowed not to vote for her in November.
“You got your 4 seconds of fame on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Let me show you who was her guest,” a TikTok creator with the account “Blaire_Allison” said in a video posted on Saturday.
TikTok then published clips from a town hall-style interview with Winfrey and Harris that aired Thursday night, in which various people, including a November 2023 video from Blair Allison, spoke about how the rising cost of living is straining the wallets of average Americans.
“I don’t understand how people are making ends meet right now,” Allison said in the featured video.

TikTok creators responded to the broadcasted videos impersonating Harris, emphasizing that they do not support the Democratic vice president’s presidential bid.
“My fellow Americans, I want to be very clear: I am not endorsing Harris for president,” she said, mocking Harris’s often-inspiring delivery. “Look, I want to unburden myself of who’s been in the White House for the last three and a half years. Look, as I stand here on this stage today — as I stood here yesterday on this stage — I want you to know that I am not endorsing Harris for president.”
The TikTok video criticizing Harris has been viewed more than 2 million times on X, and more than 100,000 times on the original TikTok as of Sunday morning.

In a subsequent TikTok, the content creator said Winfrey’s team hadn’t gotten permission to feature her original video, noting that they “had no idea the clip would be shared while she was interviewing Kamala Harris.”
“I’ve been very clear that I am not endorsing Kamala Harris at all,” she added.
The author told Fox News Digital in an email on Sunday that while he is “a deeply patriotic American, I don’t believe Harris puts Americans first, nor does she have a plan to improve American lives,” and that he won’t be voting for her in November.

“I’m disappointed that a high-profile talk show like Oprah Winfrey didn’t inform me that they were using my clips and that I didn’t have time to view the footage until local people informed me,” she added.
Oprah Winfrey attends town hall with Vice President Kamala Harris
Blair Allison’s original November video featured at the town hall focused on how the cost of living is affecting people on average salaries, including teachers and minimum wage workers, with the TikTok creator saying the worries of inflation and prices “really piss me off.”
“How are people surviving right now? How are people dealing with this cost of living on the average American salary? I just saw a TikTok of a teacher who makes a teacher’s salary. I don’t know what state she’s in, so I don’t know how much she makes. But her one-bedroom apartment is $2,000, and even though she spent $2,000 on that one-bedroom apartment, it doesn’t come with a washer and dryer, so every time she uses the washer and dryer she has to pay an extra $2,” she said in a video posted to her TikTok account on Nov. 6, 2023.
