Meanwhile, the Liverpool show will be Taylor’s 100th performance at Elsewhere, and she has confirmed that the tour will finish as scheduled in December.
“A lot of people have been asking me, ‘How are you going to celebrate 100 shows?'” she told the crowd, “And for me, celebrating 100 shows is the first time I’ve had the opportunity to accept to myself that this tour is going to end in December, which means this is it.”
She added, “I think this tour has really become my life. It’s kind of taken over everything. I guess I used to have a hobby, but I don’t know what it is now. When I’m not onstage, all I do is sit at home and think up cool acoustic song mashups and things that I think people would want to hear.”
Taylor said she wanted to celebrate all the effort that so many fans have put in to attend her shows, saying, “As we think about our 100th show, I want to take this moment with you all and be here with you all, and know that we appreciate all of the effort that you’ve put into being with us as this tour reaches triple digits.”
