When I first started my trip, my dad was asking what I was running away from on my trip. Another time, the commenter told me to stop running away from my problems and start living. “Grow up,” he said.
And many years ago there was even a blog called “Mom Says I’m Runs Out.”
I don’t know why, but everyone I’ll move long term I’m not interested in calming down or getting a traditional job Must do run away something.
Our travelers are running away from responsibility, adults, heartache, problems, etc. We are all Peter Pan, who refuses to be “adults.”
American society believes travel is something everyone should do at some point, but that’s the after-university gap. Short vacation That seems to be acceptable. Remove it from the system and return to the matrix.
Those who lead the nomadic lifestyle, or who have spent a little too long somewhere before reaching that last home stretch, are often accused of running away.
Yes, I go on a trip, but not too long, the world says. Responsible people don’t just travel forever.
We are nomads We must be living a terrible, miserable life, or something strange, or something traumatic has happened to us as we are trying to escape. People think we are simply running away from the problem and running away from the “real world.”
And to all those who think I’m running away, I say: You are right.
I morning run away.
I’m running away your “Real” world ideas.
I’m avoiding it your life.
I’m running towards everything – Toward the worldexotic places, new people, different cultures, and My own thoughts on freedom. I’m building a life that makes me happy.
There may be exceptions (as there are all), but most people who become nomads do so because they want to experience the world rather than escape the problem. They are running away from office life, commuting and weekend errands, and are 9-5 companies. What makes us march back and forth with heartless ants.
We want to (i) experience all cultures, see all mountains, eat different foods, Join the Crazy Festival, Meet new peopleand enjoy various holidays around the world. We want to create a life that will make us happy in our own words.
Life is short and we can only live once. I want to look back and say I didn’t say I had my life, I did something exciting and lived my life in my own words Read the blog This is what I did during my lunch break while I hoped I was doing the same thing.
No one would say, “If I had spent more time in the office!”
As an American, my perspective may be different. In my countrythe accepted path is long and narrow: you go to university, get a job, get married, buy a house, have 2.5 children, raise them, then retire. Only in that case, after spending time, you can enjoy the fruits of your labor. Society puts you in a box and limits your movement to their expectations.
And deviations are considered abnormal and strange.
People may want to travel. Say you want what you’re doing and you want them to be able to do the same. but They never do. Few people will summon the courage to make a leapno matter how hard my heart pulls them. They are simply fascinated by a lifestyle that is outside the norm.
Social media, The rise of digital nomadingand websites like this have left your job and traveled the world. Teaching English in Thailand It’s a little more acceptable, but the general attitude is to “follow the path if you want to be normal.”
Well, I don’t want to be normal.
The reason people say we are running away is because we can’t speculate on the fact that we break the mold and live outside the norm. In want There must simply be something wrong with us to break all the customs of society. (Maybe they’re a little jealous too?)
But life is what you do. Life is yours. We are all chained up by the burdens we place on ourselves, whether it be bills, errands, like me. Voluntary blog deadline. If you really want something, You have to chase it.
People traveling the world are not running away from life. I’m just the opposite. Something that breaks the mold, Explore the worldand living on their own terms, in my opinion, runs towards a true life. We have a certain degree of freedom that many people will never experience. We will become captains of the ship.
But it is the freedom we choose to have.
We looked around and said, “I want something different. ”
And we went for it.
It was that freedom and attitude I was a traveler in Thailand a few years ago and saw it in Thailand It inspired me to lead the life now. I saw them break the mold and I thought to myself, “Why am I not?”
I’m not running away.
no.
I’m running towards my own thoughts about normal life.
And I’m never going to look back.
