Sarah Paulson slams actor for sending six-page memo

During the latest episode of smartless podcastSarah and the host jason bateman, Sean Hayesand Will Arnett became a topic of conversation about theatrical acting and how it is customary for celebrities in the audience to come backstage and meet the stars of the show.

Jason asked if anyone in the group would be happy to receive notes from celebrities backstage, and Sarah shared a particularly “outrageous” experience she had.

“I did a play once. The last time I was on stage, I did a play called I Am. Tully’s Folly At the roundabout, and the actress — and I’m going to say this, I’m not going to get this cut, because I don’t fucking care — this actress came to the play. Sarah detailed the bizarre incident, saying Trish came to see her backstage and immediately gave her thoughts.

“I received an email with six pages of notes and communications about what she did when she performed the play and what she recommended to me,” she recalled. “It was outrageous. It was truly outrageous.”
