A worried tenant has gone viral on TikTok after revealing that her neighbor’s grocery and household goods deliveries were left outside her front door for days.

TikTok user Ebony (@ebonyandjon) posted a video showing bags of groceries outside her apartment door. Ebony explains that the apartment belongs to a neighbor and that he left this bag of groceries there for four days.

“Guys, this bag of food has been sitting in front of this apartment for the past four days,” Ebony says. “It’s like there’s toilet paper on top, paper towels, and food in the other bag. But it’s been four days since we’ve been here. Are they on vacation or What’s going on?”

Ebony continues. “Nobody cares in this building, but I just wonder. Do you know there’s food in front of the house? How did they get there without someone telling them to?” Why order it if you can’t pick it up because you’re on vacation?”

But Ebony says he might be better off minding his own business. “If there’s something weird going on, I don’t want to get involved either. So maybe I’m just minding my own business. I don’t know. Tomorrow will be day five. . So if it’s still here in five days, I guess I’ll say something to the doorman. Maybe that’s what I’ll do.”

In the caption, Ebony wrote, “No sign of anyone coming to pick up the groceries!!”

The video has been viewed more than 1.4 million times since Ebony posted it on December 9th. Users are speculating what’s going on in the comments section.

“Oh, what if they die! Yes, knock or alert management. Stay informed,” one user wrote.

A second user agreed: “If you find something please say something.”

“I can’t believe I have to ask this question. Yes, knock. If there’s no answer, tell someone,” a third user wrote.

Another user agreed. What happens when they die? It’s a simple phone call. ”

with follow up video, Ebony said that when she returned to the hallway, her bag had been moved to the side of the door instead of in front of it. She rings the doorbell and waits for an answer, but there is no answer. She knocked lightly and rang the doorbell again, but again there was no answer. Ebony then reported the incident to the doorman, who confirmed that the food items would be disposed of by building staff.

At the second follow-up video, Ebony and her partner John try once again to communicate with their mysterious neighbor. And this time the door opened. The gentleman inside explained that the groceries were not his. They had been accidentally delivered to him while he was on vacation, so he moved them aside.

“I learned to mind my own business,” Ebony said in the video. “Lesson learned. I’ll never mind my job again. I’ll be New Yorkized. So now he just thinks everyone in this building is crazy and somewhere You think if you have to go to , just make sure someone doesn’t accidentally make groceries and make a video about it and make a video about it.”
