Corn pops did. That would be the next alibi pulled out of Joe Biden’s bag of convenient excuses.
Saturday’s revelation that more classified material was found at Biden’s home in Wilmington marks the fifth such discovery since early November. It’s like a never-ending treasure hunt for top-secret booty. Every new disclosure prompts head-banging rationalizations from the president and his White House defenders.
The first whimsical record released in his private office was dismissed as “careless.” His second set of documents, kept in his garage, was forgivable under the infamous “Corvette Defense”.
Biden’s whack-a-mole rebuttal has become more and more ridiculous as more sensitive papers have emerged. In a remarkable moment of defiance mixed with arrogance, he said he had “no regrets” for endangering national security.

Suffice it to say that Karine Jean-Pierre’s evaporated credibility is surpassed only by her propensity for self-mocking. But don’t think the demolition and lying will stop. It will only escalate as the evidence builds against Biden.
In my last column, I claimed that Biden is in more danger of crime than former President Donald Trump. Beyond the differences in declassification powers of the President and Vice President, Biden’s “needless” defense has become increasingly implausible as the number of different locations where classified records have been illegally stored has grown. It rises to the level of knowledge and intention. With each new discovery, Biden’s actions seem purposeful and deliberate.
