Noel Gallagher thinks his life is a “disappointment” for fans when they meet him.

The Oasis legend has revealed that he now lives a much quieter life compared to his hedonistic days in the 1990s, and his mundane daily life may be a disappointment to those who worship him as a rock star. He suggested that there was.

He said on the Take 5 podcast:

“I think people are a little disappointed when they see you buying soup.

“They don’t want you to be in the same supermarket line as them because they think you’re on a private jet with a prostitute. Frankly, that’s what I’m doing. This is the place to be.”

Instead, the 56-year-old Britpop star went out “to buy some brown rice or salmon” and said she was “feeling disappointed” in her interactions with fans.

He added: “I’ve been asked many times in the supermarket, ‘What are you doing here?'” I’m waiting for a taxi… What do you think I’m doing here?

“Shopping for yourself is crap. They say, ‘Shopping for yourself?’ And I think, ‘Yeah, I had to fire the butler’ – that’s another thing I should do. ”

In a far cry from the heyday of the “Wonderwall” band, Noel admitted that he sometimes had fans buy brides for him to shop for.

He said, “I don’t remember ever going to a store in the 90s. I used to have fans take me shopping.

“They say, ‘Can I take a picture?'” And I gave them a shopping list and said, “I’ll tell you, if you come pick us up, you can take a picture and… I’ll give you an autograph and a hug,” he said. ”
