Millie Bobby Brown attended the New York premiere of Damsel with her fiancé Jake Bongiovi and parents Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Bongiovi and spoke with Extra’s Mona Kosar Abdi Did.
She spoke passionately about having the support of her family and Jake, with both John and Dorothea attending the event. “Family is everything. I know family means a lot to Jake, but it also means a lot to me and I’ve been able to embrace both families. I’m his parents. I love him and I love his family and I’m so lucky that they took the time to come and see me in action. ”

When Mona asks if it was date night, Millie laughs. “Well, not with my family, but it’s always a date night. I think this is very romantic in its own way. I’m very grateful.”
Millie just told Jimmy Fallon how she and Jake got engaged underwater. She tells Mona that she has the video but doesn’t know if she will release it. “When I look back at the video, I just get frustrated,” she said. “My reaction is funny.”
Plus, will her musical future father-in-law help with the wedding playlist? Millie said: “He’s a musical wizard. My taste in music, actually, I feel like we have similar taste in music. We love Ed Sheeran and we love Adele, so we’re probably the same.” I think I’ll make a playlist,” he said enthusiastically.

Brown also revealed that his secret to staying grounded is living on a farm in Georgia. “Well, I live on a farm, so that’s how I take everything,” she reflected. “When I get back to the farm and start feeding the donkeys grain, I think, ‘Oh, this is reality.’ I think that’s what keeps me grounded. I love life back home in Georgia. … I think that’s what makes me accept it. When I get home, I know what really loves me.”
