NPR White House correspondent Tamara Keith, who heads the White House Correspondents’ Association, created unintentional comedy in her speech at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
“It’s a challenging time for our country,” she declared. “People are choosing news based on what they want to hear. We can see the worst of the world and lose sight of our shared humanity.”

If this was one of Donald Trump’s sons trying to bring down child support, NPR and the rest of the liberal alphabet soup would have gone crazy over this and washed up with calls for the ruthless treatment of father and son But the hearings came and went, and ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS and NPR had nothing.

It’s not just TV. The New York Times — Any news fit for print? — And the Washington Post and USA Today had nothing about Hunter’s court appearance in their papers on Tuesday. I liked the panicked front page article about whether pipes produce toxic drinking water.
The liberal press has rushed to make time for the latest court testimony by Trump rape accuser E. Gene Carroll. It doesn’t matter if she, like Brett Kavanaugh’s sketchy accuser Christine Blasey Ford, didn’t know the date of this assault. But her testimony on Monday featured her for six minutes on the PBS NewsHour and made headlines in both The Post and The Times. But little Navy her Joanne and her mother had nothing.
Media outside the liberal silo think Hunter Biden is newsworthy. On the day of the hearing, he looked at the Snapstream TV monitoring software and found Fox News and Newsmax blazing. Who listens to conservative channels for news that the liberal press is suppressing? Tamara Keith spreads conspiracy theories and accuses fellow citizens of seeing the worst People.
