Just days after Robert F. Kennedy Jr. ended his presidential bid and aligned himself with former President Donald Trump, Kerry Kennedy announced that she would openly campaign against her brother’s candidates in key battleground states.

Kerry Kennedy has been one of the most outspoken Camelot brethren in her opposition to RFK Jr.’s political quest, voicing her support for Trump as “[ting] Light the fire [their] Memories of my father.”

Kerry Kennedy, who was married to former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo for 15 years, will campaign for Harris Walz in Arizona.

She will reportedly take part in several speeches in the battleground state alongside Dolores Huerta.

Huerta is a labor party leader known for the phrase “Si, se puede.” [Yes, we can]” famously took the stage at a campaign event in Los Angeles on June 5, 1968, the night former Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated.

Sen. Kerry Kennedy called the presidential election “the most important election of our lifetimes” after meeting with Republicans “for Harris Waltz” in Arizona on Tuesday.

“As we’ve known from day one of this campaign, this will be decided by a close margin, and it’s more important than ever that we all come together — not just Democrats but Republicans and independents — to elect Vice President Harris and Governor Tim Walz and move our country forward,” she said.

Fox News Digital has also reached out to Kerry Kennedy through her organization, the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Institute, for further comment.

The Harris campaign sent a release to Fox News Digital announcing that she will be hosting an event with Kerry Kennedy in Arizona.

In a statement, a representative for Arizona Republicans for Harris said the group welcomed Kerry Kennedy and highlighted her “commitment to bipartisan collaboration and building a better America for all.”

Another prominent Kennedy alumnus, Jack Schlossberg, grandson of former President John F. Kennedy, said he wasn’t surprised by his cousin’s political actions.

“RFK JR is for sale [and] “Harris works for Trump,” Schlossberg wrote on Twitter. “Kamala Harris works for the people.”

Other prominent family members, including U.S. envoy to Northern Ireland Joe Kennedy III and former Maryland lieutenant governor Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, have also condemned RFK Jr.’s move to the Trump campaign.

When RFK Jr. ran for president earlier this year, his brother, Joseph Kennedy II, said, “There is nothing in any way, shape or form that can take away one vote from President Biden,” according to the New York Post.

“If they put the name ‘Kennedy’ on the ballot, it will embarrass the Democrats.”

But the Kennedys put politics aside for a moment to come together in April to celebrate family matriarch Ethel’s 96th birthday.

RFK Jr., meanwhile, said he understands that some in his family oppose his political actions.

He told “Fox News Sunday” he was grateful that his actress wife, Cheryl Hines, continues to support him despite comments she made saying she was “uncomfortable” with his support of Trump.

“I want the same for our country — love and unity despite our differences. We’re going to need that in the times ahead,” he said.
