Mountain View-based technology company develops “AI Replies” feature aimed at providing intelligent responses based on caller input, beyond the standard responses currently available in the call screen feature It is said that it does.

This feature is still in development and is not present in the latest version of the Phone app on Pixel devices. However, it may be introduced in a future update.

The Call Screen feature allows your Google Assistant to handle incoming calls and ask you what the call is for. It is accessible in select regions except India and is compatible with all Pixel smartphones.

Last year, Google enhanced its Call Screen feature by introducing Contextual Responses, allowing users to answer callers without having to pick up the phone. For example, if the call screen indicates that the call is about a doctor’s office appointment, the user can choose to confirm or decline the appointment, and the on-device assistant will communicate that decision to the caller. .

Although this feature is useful in certain situations, it has significant limitations regarding the types of responses that users can provide, and it does not work effectively if the caller’s responses are too complex.

Recent analysis of the Android Authority APK teardown shows that the company is actively developing contextual reply enhancements through the introduction of “AI Replies.”

Organizations may use artificial intelligence to analyze caller responses and suggest more appropriate responses to users. According to the image, AI Replies is characterized as “Call Assist suggests innovative AI-driven smart replies derived from the responses provided during the caller’s call screen.”
