Mona Kosar Abdi from “Extra” is joined by Eric Bauza, the voice of Duffy Duck and Porky Pig, in the new film, “The Day the Earth Explodes: The Rooney Tunes Film.”
The film marks the first independent feature film of the Rooney Tunes. Eric said, “I always say this film was made without the help of artificial intelligence and professional basketball players.”
The brand new buddy comedy stars one of the greatest comedic duos in history: Porky Pig and Duffy Duck.
Eric explained the premise. “They’re like us. They have a house to repair, and they have holes in the roof. They have to get a new job, and they stumble upon this alien-chewing gum invasion… Who would be better to save the world than Duffy or Porky? But the question is… who is going to save them?”
This film is perfect for families, including Eric’s son. “I have a nine-year-old son who likes to call me my little manager.” Loved to share these moments with him, Bauza said, “Because these characters shaped who I am now… my son enjoys it too, and hits here to get the same jokes I did as a kid.”
“The Day the Earth Explodes: The Rooney Tunes Movie” will open on March 14th.
