The Eagles have added four more shows to their Sphere series, bringing the band to a total of 16 shows over eight weekends.

The new dates are December 6-7 and December 13-14. Tickets will go on sale July 12 at 10am Pacific time. Pre-sale registration is open now at eagles.com. Pre-sale will begin July 11 at 10am.

Tickets start at $175 under an all-in pricing policy. Ticket prices listed include taxes and fees. Ticketmaster has verified resale tickets ranging from $400 to $5,700 for the November 9th performance, the final show of the originally announced series.

“Eagles: Live in Concert at the Sphere” opens September 20-21. Current Eagles members are Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, and more recent members Vince Gill and Deacon Frey. Guitarist/vocalist Deacon Frey is the son of original band member Glenn Frey.

The band will become the third rock band to headline the Sphere, following in the footsteps of U2, Phish and Dead & Company.

According to a news release announcing the additional dates, “These shows will utilize Sphere’s next-generation technology, including the world’s highest resolution LED displays that envelop the audience, creating a fully immersive visual environment. The venue also features Sphere Immersive Sound, the world’s most advanced concert-grade audio system, powered by HOLOPLOT, delivering unparalleled audio clarity and precision to all guests.”
