Since taking the helm of Brooklyn Fair’s Chef’s Table, executive chefs Max Nutmesnig and Marco Prince have settled in, serving up some of Manhattan’s finest cuisine.

Today, Natmessnig and Prins bring their culinary ingenuity and mastery of European cooking styles to some of the most popular international cuisines. Chef’s Table will continue to offer a seafood-focused menu with dishes prepared using French techniques. Products are flown in from Japan every week.
Mr. Natmessnig worked in kitchens in the Netherlands, Paris and Germany before joining Prince at the original Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fair in Brooklyn. After a brief return to Europe, Natmesnig returned to work with Prince at the new Chef’s Table.
Prince’s mother’s cooking inspired him to become a chef at the age of 16. After graduating from culinary school, he worked at Michelin-starred restaurants in New York and Europe before joining Brooklyn Fair’s Chef’s Table in 2009.

Nat Messnig, Prince and a team of international chefs are currently serving up their famous Chef’s Table tasting menu in a dining room behind the Brooklyn Fair grocery store in Hudson Yards in midtown Manhattan. . There, guests are provided with an 18-seat counter and elegant booths. A theatrical view of the kitchen where over 12 courses are prepared.

Wine pairings are optional, but you can enjoy a la carte bottles from our selection of award-winning European wines with a focus on artisan producers. You can also bring wine from your own collection with advance notice. Corkage fees start at $175 for a 750 mL bottle.
