Brooklyn Beckham spoke about the rare Spice Girls performance he caught on camera in April.
The reunion took place at his mother Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday party, and featured appearances by Posh Spice, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell Turner, Melanie “Mel B” Brown and Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm.
While playing “Rent Free” with Built Rewards founder Uncle Jain, Brooklyn spoke about his mother’s milestone birthday.
“I was in a bar in London and the Spice Girls came on and started playing, so I got my phone out and started taking videos. I thought, ‘That’s so cool. I haven’t seen them perform in a long time.’ It was so much fun.”
In April, Victoria posted about the celebration, saying, “Best night! Happy Birthday! Love you all! #SpiceUpYourLife.”
Also in attendance at the gala was David Beckham, along with guests Marc Anthony and Eva Longoria.
As for “Rent Free,” it’s a “Family Feud”-like game in which celebrities like Brooklyn answer questions posed to Built members, who can then join in. The game is available on the Built app, and 12 people will have the chance to win up to $2,500 in rent money each month.
