More than two weeks after the Hamas massacre in Israel, 10 Americans remain missing, and Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Sunday that the terrorist group is holding at least some Americans hostage in the Gaza Strip. He said that it appears that he was taking the matter.
Appearing on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Blinken mentioned missing Americans and wondered whether some of them were dead, although “a significant number” of their bodies had not been recovered. The US said it was still unclear. He was taken hostage.
“Ten Americans are missing,” Blinken said. “We believe there are a significant number of hostages being held.”
He went on to reiterate that “there is a pretty strong belief that some of the at least 10 people are being held in Gaza by Hamas.”

More than 1,400 people have been killed in the war in Israel, most of them civilians killed in the October 7 Hamas attack. Hamas is also believed to have taken more than 200 hostages during the deadly invasion, which Mr Blinken described as a massacre.
“But, you know, what’s happening is it only accentuates the horror. Israel continues to discover and reveal those who have been killed, those who have been massacred. “I use the word genocide on the 7th very carefully,” he said. He said.
