The program also includes the opportunity to perform in a new parent-child interactive theatre production based on ancient Chinese texts dating back to before the Qin Dynasty.

The play is an adaptation of “Mountains and Sea: A Fantasy Journey,” and parents and children can take to the stage and take part in a performance based on an adventure to the ancient mountains.

Adora Cruz invited members of Shanghai Theatre Arts School to provide guidance and add more exciting parent-child interactive sessions, leading guests on a mystical journey of light, shadow and music.

Kids will have the opportunity to summon and battle five mythical beasts and collect colorful sacred stones.

The summer-themed cruises will operate from June through to the end of August and will also include a suite of activities centered around maritime culture, including themed cabins and entertainment items for parents and kids, specialty restaurants, shore excursions and other perks.

Since launching earlier this year, Adora Magic City has carried approximately 150,000 guests from China and abroad on 35 cruises. The ship has 2,125 staterooms and suites and can accommodate up to 5,246 guests.
