How does a dentist break a patient’s jaw during surgery?
according to Spetasus Buist, if a dentist uses the wrong technique or uses too much force when extracting a tooth, they can fracture the patient’s jaw. Signs of a jaw fracture are “severe pain, swelling, and difficulty opening your mouth.” In such cases, the patient must see a doctor and possibly undergo surgery. The surgery involves “closing the jaw with wire for proper healing or using a splint to stabilize the fracture.”
Viewers are now afraid of having their wisdom teeth removed.
“Another reason why I don’t delete my stuff,” one viewer wrote.
“Oh they showed me the paperwork on the possibility of removing my stuff and that was it. I walked away,” commented a second.
Another viewer asked Walters for more information about the incident. “Did they know they broke it when the incident happened? Or did they have to wake up and realize something was wrong?” they asked.
Walters responded in the comments section: “Twelve days after I went to another dentist saying something wasn’t right, he said no and everything was healing perfectly. So the other dentist took a 3D x-ray and found out that my jaw I could see it was broken (lol).
