A DoorDash driver couldn’t wait to collect the tip for his $1,800 Panera order and set it up at the delivery location. However, the results were a bit lackluster.

On TikTok, which has over 67,000 views, DoorDash driver and content creator Maureen (@mosidehustles) shares how a large order that took over an hour of work ended up with somewhat disappointing results.
“I want to show you what I’ve been doing for the last 15-20 minutes,” began Maureen, who had just loaded her order into her car. Cardboard boxes filled with food and large tote bags are stuffed into her trunk, back seat and passenger seat.
“That’s $1,800 worth of Panera,” she says.
Maureen asks viewers if anyone wants to guess what her tip will be, while also noting that the real MVPs are the Panera employees themselves.
“I don’t deserve this tip,” she says. “The people at Panera deserve this tip.”
After the food is delivered and installed at its final location, Maureen taps again for updates.
“It took 30 minutes to bring it in and set it up. …I had such big dreams. I’m like, ‘Oh, 20%.’ What is 20% of $1,800? ”
The answer to that question is $360, but Maureen’s tip didn’t reach that amount.
“It ended up being $50,” she reveals.
Maureen also shared photos of her entire installation, including fruit trays, salads, soups, and half-gallon drink mugs. “It was crazy. There was so much food,” she says.
In the comments, users were divided on whether the tip was enough for the order amount.

“Not bad for $50 for an hour’s work. That’s great,” chimed in a second viewer.
“20% on delivery? That’s crazy,” another commented, while Maureen replied: “Hey, I was just dreaming big. I wasn’t expecting that.”
Does Dasher need to set up catering orders?
Many commenters were also perplexed by the fact that Maureen set up the order upon delivery at the final location. in follow up videoMaureen explains why.
“Why not? DoorDash is asking us to set it up,” she simply said.
Maureen explains that dashers who reach platinum status can participate in DoorDash’s large order program.
“Before the tier system was introduced, you had to be personally invited to the bulk order/catering program. I was one of the only people in my zone who was actually participating in the program. So I understand that people probably haven’t had many catering orders and don’t know that they are required to set up catering. [orders] Go up,” she says.

DoorDash drivers have access to the large order program through a tiered order program. dasher rewards program, This includes special offers and opportunities to earn more for high-performing Dasher. DoordDash will prioritize these dashers for large orders through our Large Order Program. This could mean “higher tips” and “higher earning potential,” including an extra $3 to set up large orders locally.
Maureen provided additional comments via email to the Daily Dot.
“A larger tip would have been greatly appreciated, but I want to emphasize the fact that I appreciate the tip I received,” Maureen said. “I would also like to add that Panera had to work really hard to put this order together.”
Maureen continued: Don’t just give, teach others about giving with a positive attitude. This order was back in April and I hadn’t fully edited the video because the audio was a mess. But I had to share the hilarity of how my car looks with those bags!!!”
