A video by TikTok user and car enthusiast 24.Model3 (@24.model3) features the 2024 Tesla Model 3. car and driver praised the new Model 3 with an 8/10 rating and named it the second-best electric sedan behind the Hyundai Ioniq 6. It praises the Model 3’s “more refined front end, quieter cabin, and updated standard features.” These features include updated interior materials, a redesigned steering wheel, new upholstery, and, of course, a new rear seat display.
The magazine criticized the base model’s range as “only” 272 miles, but prices start at just over $40,000, which is relatively affordable by electric vehicle standards. However, the review notes that “the Model 3 also lacks physical controls for nearly all functions,” and that accessing many of the car’s features requires a larger display like an iPad. However, one Reddit thread posted on r/ElectricVehicles panned the changeTesla CEO Elon Musk even joked that he would eliminate the horn from future models and replace it with something called “BeepMind,” which ostensibly allows drivers to control the horn telepathically.
Some commenters wondered why people who don’t want all the technology in their cars would drive a Tesla in the first place.
One person said: “My brother wants a Tesla with no technology lol,” adding: “So what’s the point of a Tesla?”
“Buy a Prius,” another person joked.
One theory is, “Everything you just mentioned will probably cost Tesla less than $200-$300 total. They’re manufacturing it at such a large scale that they can keep the cost of the parts very low.” You can suppress it.”
