“Morally, I have no reason to vote for either Biden or Trump. One supports genocide and the other is a psychopath who could start a new civil war. That’s why I’m voting Independent. While it’s true that an Independent is unlikely to win, I believe that if enough people vote Independent, that could change in the next few elections.”

“People (at least I think) are pressured to vote for one major party or the other because it’s always the Democrat or the Republican who wins. But if we, the people, could show that we’re willing to vote differently, then future candidates might be less polarized and actually run on an independent platform that reflects bipartisan ideas and what people really want (i.e. not funding genocide, not being racist, sexist, or homophobic, not facing 91 felony charges).”

The two-party system is a scam, and just a way for the rich to stay rich and in power. It’s absurd that people should pledge unwavering loyalty to either the right or the left. It’s okay to have your own opinions. It’s okay to not always agree with your party, and it’s okay to sometimes agree with the “other side.” Furthermore, in a two-party system, candidates who really want to run for office must sacrifice some of their ideals and morals in order to gain the support of the Democrats or Republicans.

If you’re not going to vote this year, or you’re not sure how to vote, I strongly encourage you to vote Independent. Your vote counts (even if your candidate doesn’t win). Show the bastards in Washington that they don’t control us. They represent us and work for us. It’s time to remind them.”
