According to a new help page spotted by The Verge, consumers can sign up for $84 a year ($7 a month), saving them $1 over what they used to do. Internet users can now sign up for the service for $84 per year, saving between $8 and $1 per month. Similar discounts are offered not only in Japan, but also in the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, all of which offer Twitter Blue.

Twitter Blue updated process

Benefits of upgrading to Twitter Blue include a more prominent “verified” badge, priority in response queues, and up to 60 minute video uploads. Users can also take advantage of features such as undoing and editing Tweets, customizing app icons, themes, navigation, and bookmarking Tweets.

Before the Musk acquisition closed, Twitter reported revenue of $1.2 billion in the first quarter of 2022, of which $1.1 billion came from advertising and subscriptions.
