The wing of former President Donald Trump’s Boeing plane crashed into a parked plane at a Florida airport after landing and taxiing safely early Sunday morning. Federal Aviation Administration he said on Tuesday.

No injuries were reported from the collision.
The FAA’s notification of the incident, which occurred at 1:19 a.m. ET on Sunday, lists President Trump’s plane’s tail number N757AF.
“A privately owned Boeing 757 landed safely at West Palm Beach International Airport on Sunday, May 12 at approximately 1:20 a.m. local time,” the FAA said in a statement.
“While taxiing, its winglet made contact with a parked unoccupied corporate jet,” the FAA said in a statement. “The incident occurred in an area of the airport where the FAA does not direct aircraft. The FAA is conducting an investigation.”
A winglet is a short fin that projects upward from an aircraft wing. Used to reduce air resistance.
CNBC has reached out to a spokesperson for President Trump’s campaign for comment on the incident.
Trump maintains a residence at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach.
Trump, the leading Republican candidate, is on trial in New York state court on criminal hush money charges. He has pleaded not guilty to charges of falsifying business records.
On Tuesday, Trump’s lawyer Todd Blanche began cross-examining a key witness in the case, Trump’s former personal lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen.
Mr. Cohen paid porn actress Stormy Daniels $130,000 in late 2016 to buy her silence about an alleged secret meeting with President Trump a decade earlier. Cohen testified that she did so at Trump’s direction to prevent Daniels from going public with her story and damaging Trump’s presidential bid that year.
Mr. Trump denies having sex with Mr. Daniels or engaging in any quid pro quo. He claimed the incident was politically motivated, aimed at hurting his electoral chances.
