Environmental activist Stonehenge was filmed being sprayed with paint on Wednesday, with orange powder covering some of the stones.

Footage released by Just Stop Oil, an environmental activist group focused on the issue of man-made climate change, shows two protesters dressed in white running towards the two boulders and spraying them with paint while another tries to stop them.

Archaeologists say the prehistoric structure dates back to between 3100 and 1600 BC.
