Scotty McCreary is currently working on his next album, Rise and Fall, with Alecia Davis of Extra.
He also opened up about fatherhood, competing on American Idol, and his thoughts on Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter.
McCreary, a multi-platinum selling artist who has had five consecutive No. 1s, declares that Rise and Fall is his “favorite album” to date, explaining: did. waterfall. I’ve been through it all. ”
The 13-track project includes previously released tracks “Slow Dance,” “Cab in a Solo,” “Can’t Pass the Bar,” “Red Letter Blueprint,” and his anthem “Love Like This “contained. The entire album reflects his “ups and downs and all-around”.
Scotty and his wife, Gabi, welcomed son Avery in 2022, and he told Alecia that becoming a father was “the most amazing thing ever” and “the greatest blessing of my life.”
The 30-year-old country star reflected on winning the 10th season of American Idol at the age of 17 and his experiences with judges Steven Tyler, Randy Jackson and Jennifer Lopez, and how it was to work with them. He said it was wonderful.
