The lawsuits filed by Rebecca Mandel and Kate Whiteman allege that the brothers assaulted, beat and raped them in separate incidents in 2010 and 2012, respectively. The lawsuits also allege that Oren and Aron Alexander engaged in similar acts against other women.

The case is known as New York law. Adult Survivors Act The law, which allowed victims who were 18 or older at the time of an assault to sue suspects regardless of how long ago the crime occurred, was set to expire.

In her lawsuit, Mandel alleges that she met brothers Oren and Aron Alexander when she was 18 years old at the now-closed SL nightclub in New York City’s Meatpacking District in 2009. Over the next 12 months, Mandel says she ran into the twins at various social occasions.
Around September 2010, Mandel claims he encountered the twins again at SL and that Aron Alexander “intentionally laced Plaintiff’s drink with an unknown substance, causing her significant physical and mental impairment,” the lawsuit states.
The lawsuit also alleges that the twins persuaded Mandel to leave the nightclub and attend a party at their apartment, but when the trio arrived at the apartment, it was empty and the brothers said they were “just going to hang out for a bit.”
Ms Mandel alleges that the brothers then held her down and took turns holding her down while they raped her. The lawsuit describes the brothers’ actions as “extreme and reprehensible, cruel and intolerable in a civilised society”, and says it has left Ms Mandel with “physical and psychological trauma and damage” and caused her “great humiliation, loss of self-esteem, and mental anguish and suffering”.
Whiteman’s lawsuit alleges similar behavior by Oren and Aron Alexander. She said she met the twins in 2008 and repeatedly turned down Oren Alexander’s invitations to date them for about four years afterward.
Whiteman alleges that in 2012, Oren Alexander texted her asking if she wanted to go to the Hamptons over Memorial Day weekend, and Whiteman confirmed via text that she was going. That same month, Whiteman alleges that as she was leaving the Dune nightclub in the Hamptons, Oren Alexander grabbed her and took her to a black SUV where Oren Alexander was waiting.
The lawsuit states Whiteman was then taken to a Hamptons estate owned by recording artist Sir Ivans Castle. Ivan WilzigHe is named as a defendant in the lawsuit but is not included in the assault allegations.
At Sir Ivan’s Castle, Ms Whiteman claims she was forced to change into a sarong and “dragged back” into a garage when she tried to escape, and was taken to what appeared to be a large bedroom where she claims Aron and Oren Alexander assaulted, raped and beat her.
The Alexanders’ lawyer, James Ferraro, said he believes the lawsuit will be quickly dismissed.
“This lawsuit has been made public because Mr. Alexander has chosen not to give in to demands for tens of millions of dollars,” Ferraro of the Ferraro Law Firm said in an email. “We are confident that this matter will be resolved in Mr. Alexander’s favor, as a significant amount of compelling evidence has been collected that clearly refutes these allegations, including phone records, text messages, emails and other documents.”
