Levin had heard rumors that the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, a hard-core left-leaning advocacy group driving the current gender crisis in the United States, was planning to set (what?!) a recommended minimum age for gender-based medical interventions in its 2022 guidelines.
She came down like a hammer and tried to intervene through back channels.
WPATH called for a minimum age of 14 for hormone treatment, 15 for mastectomy, 16 for breast implants, and 17 for genital surgery.

Levin didn’t want any restrictions, especially when it came to surgery.
But why lobby behind the scenes? After all, she is the face of Biden’s transgender policy stance.
“Based on the rhetoric I’m hearing in Washington and what we’ve already seen, I believe listing a specific age group under 18 would result in devastating legislation regarding transgender care,” Levin wrote, according to an email revealed in a recent court filing.

In other words, any caveat emptiness by WPATH to medical reality could be a political blow to Levin’s boss, Joe Biden.
And, not surprisingly, WPATH has reportedly broken its own rules and ignored the wishes of its own committee members in order to meet the demands of high-ranking and powerful government officials (who clearly have the backing of the President or whoever makes the decisions in the White House).
Remember: WPATH is, by any normal standard, the most outlandish thing possible on transgender issues.
