Nikki Garcia made her first public appearance on Monday since her husband, Artyom Chigvintsev, was arrested last week on domestic violence charges.
Garcia conspicuously left her wedding ring at home while co-hosting Netflix’s hot dog eating competition “Joey Chestnut vs. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef” with Rob Riggle.
“I’m so happy to be here,” she told the crowd at the Las Vegas event.
When the crowd chanted, “Nikki, we love you,” she smiled and replied, “Yeah, I love you too.”
The former WWE star wore a red pantsuit for the match, accessorized with black sunglasses, and completed the look with bright red lipstick.

On Thursday, news broke that Artyom had been arrested and taken to the Napa County Jail. According to court records, Chigvintsev was charged with Penal Code 273.5(a), assault with corporal injury to a spouse.
A representative for the Napa County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Extra that Artem was arrested without incident on suspicion of “felony domestic violence.” The investigation is ongoing.
The “Dancing with the Stars” pro was released from jail after posting bail.

According to the dispatcher, Artem called 911 and said “he and his wife had been arguing and she threw a shoe at him.”

The operator then said they were “attempting to separate the two,” and added, “RP states no medical attention is required at this time.”
A rep for Garcia later told Us Weekly: statement“This is a private matter and Nikki asks that her privacy and that of her family be respected at this time.”
The two began dating in 2019 and he proposed a year later. The couple got married in August 2022 and just celebrated their two-year anniversary.
