J.Lo may be going through a lot of hard things, but she’s not getting depressed!
The superstar was in the midst of a tumultuous divorce from her beau Ben Affleck. Instagram Show off your confidence and celebrate summer fun on Saturday.
“Yeah, it was summer,” she admitted in the caption. The first photo shows a young Jennifer Lopez looking ageless, gazing intently into the mirror.
She’s serious!
Other photos on Carousel show the 55-year-old looking sexy in a white one-piece swimsuit, embracing her sister, smiling on the beach and dressing up for an event.
J.Lo also graciously shared sweet moments with her kids, cute puppies, and adorable kittens.
Interestingly, for Jennifer’s viewers, the captions aren’t the only place she imparts wisdom.
“Everything is unfolding in divine order,” reads one slide, while a photo of a T-shirt bears the slogan “Blessed Mami,” while another reads, “She blossoms, undisturbed, out of reach, resting in peace.”
The overall message seems to be that Lopez is moving forward and doing well, even as she tries to start over after the end of her marriage to Affleck.
Lopez filed for divorce 11 days ago, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
The date that Jennifer filed for divorce, Aug. 20, is significant because it marks the second anniversary of their second, more lavish wedding, which took place in Georgia. The couple originally married in Las Vegas on July 16, 2022.
