You may not be able to decipher what’s in every photo, but your iPhone can. Apple’s new iOS 17 feature “Visual Look Up” lets you do just that. Visual Look Up allows you to take a photo and find information about different objects and scenes in the image.

Whether it’s a famous landmark, beautiful flower, cute animal or delicious food, “Visual Look Up” will help you identify it and learn more about it. Get this: Visual Look Up can also identify foods in photos and suggest related recipes. You can also search for sounds such as applause in videos. Pretty cool, right? All you need is a camera and some curiosity. Apple does the rest.

How to use “visual lookup” for photos

Go to the photo on your iPhone and use “Visual Look Up.” (CyberGuy.com)

  • Find. photograph What you want to search for information using “Visual Look Up”, and Tap Moreover

Tap the iOS photo you want to “Search”. (CyberGuy.com)

How to search for sounds in videos using “Visual Look Up”

  • You can also use Visual Lookup to search for sounds such as music, laughter, applause, clapping, cheers, sirens, animals, and more. Here are the steps:
  • open photo app
  • Then tap search bottom right tab
  • then enter the word movie Tap the word in the search bar video below it

  • Then enter the sound you want to search for in the search tab next to where you typed “video.” laughter and applause, and Tap Moreover
  • Tap. see all button
  • Swipe the video to blue bar Where the sound was identified in the timeline above

  • Swipe through the video and the video will start from where the sound you searched for started
