On May 22nd at around 3pm at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a young guest was reportedly stranded between a boat and a loading dock on the Navi River Journey. Anonymous reports to WDWNT.com said paramedics rushed to the scene and pierced the platform to rescue the child. Reports say there were no major injuries, but neither Disney nor emergency responders have confirmed anything about the incident at this time.
According to one report, passengers were removing their feet from the boat before it returned to the unloading platform. Upon reaching their destination, their feet were caught between the platform and the attraction boat they were sitting on. Thankfully, the Disney cast member who was running the attraction shut it down before it caused irreparable damage to the guest’s appendages.
It is unclear if the train will operate normally tomorrow or if it will be canceled for repairs, officials said.
