Dillon Danis has been relentless in his efforts to get under Logan Paul’s skin, using a photo of Paul’s fiance to provoke a reaction. But Danis admitted that one photo taken at his recent press conference managed to reach his heart.
The photo in question showed Paul facing Mike Perry, a backup fighter for the Oct. 14 bout in case Danis didn’t show up. This image got on Danis’ nerves and he expressed his dissatisfaction with Paul trying to distract from their fight. Danis believes Paul is trying to avoid direct involvement with him and distract him by focusing on other topics, including Conor McGregor.
The press conference was briefly disrupted by John Fury, the father of headliner Tommy Fury, but Danis was pulled away from the pole and unable to face off. Recounting what happened backstage, Danis added some stipulations in case of unforeseen circumstances, but insisted he would show up for the match.
Danis expressed his excitement for the fight and his desire to win by fist and have the final say in the heated battle. He expected a knockout victory or a scenario where he threw in the towel with a one-sided blow in Paul’s corner. Danis admitted wanting to punch Paul in the face and recounted a light-hearted moment during a press conference where he almost threw a chair at Paul.
Tensions between Dillon Danis and Logan Paul are definitely high, and fans are looking forward to their showdown to see if Danis can confirm his confident predictions in the ring.
