TikToker Kissy Torres, aka @iamkissy, recently sparked conversations with a video about training employees to be “bad”.
“It’s a place where I’m literally convinced it’s a requirement to put up a bar in the no-go zone,” Kissy said in the video.
The first is Sephora. “People say it’s bad to come here without makeup, but I’ll do better. I have acne-prone skin,” says Kissy. “These people are staring at me as if I ran over a dog. I shouldn’t be in that store and they’ll let me know right away.”

2nd place is Paksan. “If you’re an adult who isn’t afraid of teenagers, I’m sure you’ve never been in Pacsun,” she says.
why? “So, fun fact. For those of you who didn’t know this, PacSun’s onboarding process requires you and all the other employees to swarm the cash register and do this every time a customer comes into the store. ’” She stares blankly into the camera.
“One time when I needed a locker room here, they actually took me in the back and shot me in the head,” she joked.
Third on the list is the clinic. “If you were a receptionist at a doctor’s office, I’m pretty sure you’d be fired on the spot if you treated a patient like a real person when they came in,” says Kissy.
“When I go to an appointment that was having a panic attack in the first place, and you walk in, they’re sitting at their desks just like this.” Kissy rolls his eyes at the camera. “Name?” She is expressionless.
Kissy said in the caption that he wasn’t looking to disagree. “Don’t boo, I’m right,” she wrote.
Several commenters backed Kissy’s assessment.
“PacSun employees would rather fold the same jeans over and over than actually help someone. It’s insane,” commenter Gabriel wrote.
Another user wrote, “Every time I stepped into Paksan, I didn’t get a greeting or a goodbye.”
“Why do PacSun employees act like you walked into their room uninvited?” asked user Kapi.
A user named Bip shared his behind-the-scenes experience. “I used to work at PacSun and my colleagues literally made fun of me for being nice to customers.”
The video has been viewed more than 1.5 million times since it was posted last week. Yesterday, Kissy followed up with this: part 2. The Daily Dot reached out to Kissy via IG DM, Sephora and PacSun for comment.
