Cam Newton is back on the table.
The former Carolina Panthers quarterback addressed recent criticism of Brock Purdy. That included calling San Francisco’s signal caller a “game manager” rather than a “game changer” and a cryptic social media post during Monday’s game between the 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens.

In another video on his X account Wednesday, Newton clarified that the emojis were not meant to be negative towards Purdy.
In the same video, the former NFL MVP reacts to Deebo Samuel after the 49ers wide receiver called him out for criticizing Purdy during his weekly appearance on Up & Adams. did.
