The Bucks announced their gameday inactive list prior to this afternoon’s 4:25 PM ET kickoff against the Detroit Lions.

The most important player not in uniform ahead of the Bucs’ Creamsicle return game is outside linebacker Anthony Nelson, who was revealed to be questionable early Sunday morning.
With Nelson out with a concussion, undrafted rookie Marquise Watts will be in action today. This should also lead to more snaps for Yaya Diaby and Cam Gill, third-round picks behind Shaq Barrett and Joe Tryon Soyinka.
It’s also worth noting that reserve defensive lineman Patrick O’Connor and backup tight end David Wells will also not play. The Bucks have opted to have fifth-round rookie Payne Durham on the active roster on game day instead of Wells, and he could receive second-round snaps behind Cade Otton and Ko Kieft.

The Lions will be without two of their top four draft picks. Running back Jahmil Gibbs and defensive back Brian Branch are both out of this afternoon’s game, which is not surprising since they did not practice this week and also missed Detroit’s final game against the Panthers. .
One rookie who would suit up is tight end Sam LaPorta, who was previously listed as questionable. Gibbs’ absence means there will be little impediment for David Montgomery to get his share of Lion touches in the backfield.
Another key inactive player for them is fourth-year starting left guard Jonah Jackson.wide receiver Amon Ra St. Brown He will officially return to the lineup as the top target for quarterback Jared Goff, who was sidelined last week with an abdominal injury.
