Tampa Bay made several moves this offseason to improve its secondary. The Bucks traded longtime starting cornerback Carlton Davis III, 27, and a sixth-round pick to the Lions in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Tampa Bay plans to promote third-year cornerback Zion McCollum to the starting position opposite Jamel Dean in place of Davis.

Bryce Hall is expected to compete with Keenan Isaac and Josh Hayes to replace McCollum as the team’s third cornerback this year.

Jordan Whitehead was signed to replace Ryan Neal, who signed a one-year deal with Tampa Bay last offseason. Neal struggled in coverage and lost his starting job at the end of the 2023 season. The Bucks have no intention of re-signing Neal.
